Detailed production control

Concerning the quality of the detailed production control, the following rule applies: “garbage in = garbage out“.

3. Optimisation rules (f. ex. set-up optimisation)

…are preconditions for an optimum detailed planning.

Especially for companies with a production tool-intensive production and variable products (single-part and small-lot producers), it is crititcal to provide, together with the detailed production control, at the production order start the necessary production tools and production resources in real-time.

Ideally, the production data administration, as the information centre, is connected to the ERP, PLM and CAD systems.
